Tabinda Chinoy is a prominent artist who has exhibited extensively both in Pakistan and abroad. After graduating from Home Economics College. Lahore, she graduated from the Central Institute of Arts and Crafts, Karachi and later completed an advanced course in sculpture from the Slade School of Fine Arts, London.

Tabinda is involved in major charitable organizations including the Layton Rahmatullah Benevolent Trust, Shaukat Khanum Memorial Hospital and Lady Dufferin Hospital. Her art work has been auctioned in Pakistan, the USA and the UK. She has worked for the All-Pakistan Women’s Association as Chairperson of the Women’s Rights and Responsibilities and has been on the Board of Directors of the Art Council, Karachi. She also taught Art History at the Aga Khan University School of Nursing, Karachi.

A book of poems by Beo Zafar and paintings by Tabinda Chinoy titled: ‘The Dreamer Awakes’ was published in India.

Tabinda divides here little time between Karachi, Kuala lumpur and New York to spend time with her husband, son, two daughters, sons-in-law and three little gems, her grandchildren.
