Hello Friends!

I believe in aesthetics and the marvels of nature. I am a dreamer.

Tabinda Chinoy

My Statement

My paintings can be described as fauvist, expressionistic, semi-abstract, while my sculptures are primarily expressionistic.

I am increasingly drawing inspiration from a cornerstone of my heart: Pakistan. It is a land of awe-inspiring beauty, with people who are among the warmest, bravest, and most resilient on earth but are trapped in archaic, sometimes bestial traditions and customs. My figurative work, mainly of women, depicts their fears and aspirations. I create symbols, like birds and fish signifying hope. For me, giving up is not an option.

The theme of my paintings of buildings is an idyllic world with a mosque, church, temple, synagogue, mud huts and skyscrapers ... all melding together in harmony.

A dreamer striving for perfection through the visualization of fantasy
